Hello Fitness World. I know what your thinking, 3 posts in one day, man this kid has too much time on his hands. My anwser…YES YOUR RIGHT! LOL. I’m on winter break and don’t have work today So I’m bored :/ Beside the point though, I’ve got some news for you! So I train at two gyms as some of you may or may not know. One of them being Planet Fitness. The other gym aka my primary gym is a small personal training studio. The gym is run by a powerlifter and the atmosphere is pretty competitive in there which I love. As start of the New Year, the owner, Randy, conducts a 24 week contest amongst the gym members to see who can conduct the biggest transformation and/or achieve the most of their goals they set for themselves. After the 24 weeks, Randy and a panel of 5 unbias judges evaluate everything and announce a winner. The winner receives $2,000! I wasn’t planning on entering until yesterday when Randy fired me up into joining. The contest officially starts on the 7th of this month! Let me summarize the rules a little bit.
Rules for Competition (subject to change)
There will be a check point at 12 weeks into the challenge. This will give each competitor an opportunity to improve on their weak points over the next 12 weeks.
You must take your “before” photographs with Randy at the gym no later than one week after the start date of your program, and your “after” photographs no later than the conclusion date of your program. Please see attached helpful tips for winning photographs.
- These pics can be taken at home, but please make them clear in a non cluttered location.
Along with your “before” photographs you must turn in 3-5 goals you wish to achieve during your 24 week challenge. Please put your goals in order of priority.
You must, also, keep your Training cardio log current as well as keep a detailed log of your diet and LOG it DAILY! This is a REQUIREMENT. The diet log should include calories, carb’s, fat, and protein intake for each meal as well as totals for the day. This, too, will be considered in the final judging. I cant even begin to tell you how much this will count and how important it is.
In addition to your “after” photographs and your diet log, you must write an essay about your 12 week experience. This essay can be as long or as short as you like. Keep in mind, this essay will count for a small of your total score. This also MUST be turned in no later than the conclusion date of your program.
Unfortunately, there can be only one prize winner.
Anyone who puts there heart and soul into this for 24 weeks will come out a winner!!

Be 100% muscle, Physically Dominant, shred down to 6%-8% Body Fat! (TELL ME I CAN’T!)
Attend at least 2 UT sessions a week.
Weight Train at least 5 days a week
Perform at least 2 HIIT sessions a week
Nail Handstand Pushups
Nail Muscle Ups
Nail Double Unders
Complete my personal trainer’s course in April
Be prepared in all aspects to top the Tough Mudder and finish Top 20 in the 2013 Spartan Race.

And if all goes well by the end of this contest, I’m going to compete in a men’s physique bodybuilding contest!
