Hey everyone. Happy Friday! Its so weird “Nemo” is upon us and school and work has been cancelled for me! Not that it would matter at school because I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays but STILL! Crazy. It actually just started snowing but its already getting pretty heavy. No excuses regardless, I still hit UT Bootcamp hard this morning at 5AM and my deadlifts later at 10 AM. Let’s look into it!
For UT Bootcamp we performed a workout entitled “Blizard.” Fitting huh? This workout was focused more on endurance rather then speed and took me about 45 minutes.
3 ROUNDS:
Burpee x 25
Mtn climbers x 25 each leg
Push ups x 25
Ball slams x 25
Box jumps x 25
Tire flips
Tire sledge smashx 25
Tire drag w sledge=20
Tire rope tow 5 (men)/3 (women)
Plate push x down and back
OH tire lunge x 25 per leg
OH tire press x 25
Kettlebell swing x 25
Definitely a good sweat accompanying this one. Give it a try for some solid cardio
Following this workout, I started my meals off with my “Breakfast of Champions” Nothing fancy, the usual morning grub for me

This is just 1 cup of egg whites mixed with a handful of spinach and also 1 cup oats mixed with 1 scoop of Unsweetened Cocoa powder. I use barely any water in my Oats to make it extra thick that’s why it looks so weird LOL!
Deadlifts Week 4 Deload
Training Weight 360
55% 5 Reps 200LB
65% 5 Reps 235LB
75% 5 Reps 270LB

I knew this was going to be a MAJOR shock because I haven’t performed deadlifts outside the 5 rep range in awhile so aiming for 12-15 seemed like miles haha

Funny story occurred after my workout. So I finished my workout at about 10:45 AM. I only had about 2-3 big gulps left in my gallon jug so I went to CVS right beside my gym to buy another gallon. With “Nemo” knocking on our doors, all the gallon jugs were sold out :/ As I began to drive home, I thought of the liquor store that is just down the street. The PACKIE store was packed with everyone loading up on liquor, (large snow storm I’m sure that justifies buying MADD BOOZE! right?) Anyways, I go to the back of the store, grab a gallon of water from the fridge and head to the register. You would have thought I was a minor trying to buy alcohol with the looks I was getting. Even the cashier said “We don’t see this too often.” I chuckled and walked out with my jug in hand. I don’t know why but those few moments have just stuck vividly in my mind. I mean I understand I am at a liquor store and the norm is to buy booze, but just because we are having a snow storm doesn’t means lets load up on alcohol and chug away. I don’t know I don’t want to rant so I’ll just end my little stink at that.
When I got home I had my post workout meal which is the same as my preworkout meal. Egg Whites and Oats. After I finished I got hit by a craving! I opened the fridge to put something away and noticed the tub of leftover sweet potato fries we had with dinner last night.
I honestly could not resist. I threw the fries into the microwave and gobbled them all down.

These aren’t homemade or anything so I’m sure they are not too good for you :/ Luckily, I was able to find them on my “Lose It” app so I am still going to fit my macros!
I apologize for the super long post today! Everyone have an awesome fit Friday and be safe in this snow storm if you apply! Any questions, hit me up

Good for you for braving the storm! The egg white and spinach is a good idea! It’s a great breakfast that you could spice up with whatever you’re craving..maybe some salsa or hot sauce!
Yeah hot sauce isn’t a bad idea. Not to mention all the health benefits it packs. I actually was doing some research on spices and they were saying that Turmeric is very healthy. Garlic powder packs a big nutritional punch. And of course cinnamon goes without saying lol. I’m definitely going to have to venture out and try some flavor!
